Look behind the scenes at the first ever group of ASAP Specialists
The Acute Stress Adaptive Protocol (ASAP) is a cutting-edge tool to help First Responders screen for and prevent the onset of PTSD and other mental health disorders.
The ASAP is an EMDR based early intervention technique that was specifically designed for First Responders. The ASAP can be taught to Peer Support leaders who can then administer the protocol among their peers.
By taking the next step to become a ASAP-trained paraprofessional, you are investing in key systems to improve mental health, retention, and most importantly, break the stigma around mental healthcare, and reduce the risk of losing your team members to stress after trauma.
